Has very bad diarrhea since yesterday. It has gotten to the point that every time he has gas there is always something coming out, it is dry now and not watery like it was before. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with him, and it doesn't look like he is hurting. He doesn't want to eat he just drinks juices and water. What should I do? He only has it during the day, he sleeps through the whole night but in the morning today the same thing happened, I dont think that its from the night but Im not sure I dont want to wake him to check everytime.

  1. I would call the dr.

  2. Could be rota-virus. My twins sons got the vaccine, but it isn't 100% effective. They did not have a fever or any other symptoms at first. Their butts ended up very swore and red. Dr. Broudix's butt paste and baby powder worked the best. If you are still worry call your dr's nure. They are usually very helpful.

  3. This needs to be reported to his doctor.

  4. well give it a week.  cuz my daughter had this 2 months ago when she was 11 months old and she didn't have a fever either she didn't really want to eat.  since he doesn't have a fever or vomiting he should be fine unless it goes on for more than a week.  after a week my daughters stools started getting solid more and more everyday. what u want to do for him right now. is start giving him stuff that will make his stools hard.  bananas is the best thing cuz normally bananas make ur baby constipated when they eat too much of them.  also bread.  anything that will make his stools hard basically.  dont panic ur baby is fine. just be sure to change him right away cuz diaper rash. also its normal for them to pass gas and then they let it all out. lol.  remember as long as hes not vomiting or fever hes fine. ohh yeah i forgot to tell u.  this is a big no no!  DO NOT GIVE HIM JUICE.  that will only make him have more diarrhea alot of people say that can give them diarrhea sometimes. but i dont think so cuz as soon as my daughter was done with her diarrhea i started giving her juice again and she hasn't had that since.  so it all depends on you.  right now only give him water and his milk.  good luck

  5. Hes having diarrhea because hes not eating. Find things he will eat..crackers, cereal anything to get his appetite back. Food and water is what he needs.

  6. My 14 month old just had diarrhea. She was 100% fine besides the p**p. She was eating, drinking, and sleeping ok. After a week we went to the doctor and had a sample checked. It was a virus. But, by the time we got the results I already knew. The whole house caught it. We used LOTS of triple paste at night to keep her skin safe.

I would call the doctor and ask what they recommend.

  7. Call your doctor and Follow the BRAT Diet it always worked for my girls w.diarrhea. Breads, Rice, Applesauce and Toast. Do not give any juice as that will only make things worse.

  8. I had the same thing happen to me with my son.  You need to call his doctor and not take any chances.  My son ended up having a stomach virus and he became dehydrated even though I was pushing the fluids.  I would be on the safe side and call his doctor.  Good luck!
