I have never been to an airport before. She will be leaving out of DAY to Charolette and then on to MYR. She is flying US Airways via Canadair

  1. No, only persons with a ticket can go beyond the security checkpoint.  She will be fine...there are plenty of people to ask for help if she needs it.

  2. No, i'm sorry. Now that she is 18 years old she can't have anyone go with her. At seventeen and younger your parents can get a gate pass and go with but at 18 they don't allow it.

Trust me, you will find your way. Ask questions if you are confused, someone will be there to help you!

And check in online if you can, and print out her boarding pass, it will save you A LOT of time and waiting in line.

  3. You use 2 ,but since 911 you will need a ticket to get by security 2 a gate.
