My 18th is in on the 28th aug, ID help....?

I am planning on going clubbing or to the pub on the weekend after my birthday and I need some ID (I dont even look 16 lol) and I need to get some ID. What would be the quickest form of ID to get and where can I get it. I am in the UK. My neighbour said that I wont be able to get any and should probably look into fake id. Should I? If so where is the best place to get it?

You can apply for a provisional driving licence online and send the DVLA the photo in the post- it took around 2 weeks for me.

Some proof of age cards like Citizencard offer fast services if you pay them a bit more- though bars and clubs seem to be accepting them less so you'll want to check whether the places you want to go will do.

I'm sorry to say that nearly all certified ID's take 14 days or longer to obtain (I'm assuming your from UK).

You could try and use your passport though (if you have one), if it has your picture and date of birth.

But apart from that you could just try getting your mates to buy the drinks for you...but some clubs don't let you in if you don't look 18+ so buying the drinks isn't likely to be a the first problem anyway.

When you look really young and your ID says you're legal, it is scrutinized very carefully.

I've had people tell me my real ID is fake.

Don't get a fake ID. You'll likely be caught.
