My 1991 Honda Civic Sedan

Question

It has 4 lugs for the rims, but I have a set of tires with the rim that are 5 lugs. Where can I buy an adaptor so I can fit the 5 lug tires on the 4 lug rotors?

Youd be better off selling the 5-lug rims and getting some 4-lug rims. The only way i know of that this can be done it to swap the wheel spindels with ones off an integra with the 5 lug set-up. Dont expect to be able to do this conversion for less then $1000. I dont remember but these spindles may only be available on japanese integras, so you would need to get em shipped from japan. I know that this is done on mid 90s civics but im unsure if it would even work with your year civic.

Well they're out there and easy to find but I dont recommend you do it.

Some spacers are not safe at all.Ive heard of some them break off, and spacers limit your tire clearance, it might even make them stick out and look wierd!!!!! lol

plus you wont be able to get them with a width smaller than 1.5"

the reason you won't find anything less than 1.5" is because you have to account for the 4x100 lug stud.

You have to bolt the adapter plate up to the lugs with lug nuts and therefore have to have enough room to house everything under the wheel. This leaves you with a min. of that 1.5"

I would sell the 5 lug wheels and get me some right wheels for my car.

  I hate to tell you this but there are no adaptors for car rims.  If the tires are the same size then you can take them to a tire specialist  that can remove them from one rim and put them on another.  They will also have to balance them at the same time.  I hope they are the same size.
