My 1992 Mercedes 500 sel stalls while I'm driving

Question

While driving the car will stall for no apparent reason. When I try to restart it, it just cranks and cranks. If I wait about 10 minutes the car will start and run perfect. Then the process starts again, I can go approx. 5-10 miles then stalls. Any suggestions?

think it could be your converters going bad?my car stalls after driving it for about 30 min,i get a sulfer smell,and when it cuts off it wont start for for about 20 min,some times i have to crank it 2 or 3 times  before it starts.
