  1. if you can, check the alternator... and then check the oil... if the alternator is loose that can happen.... and if the oil is gone or is full of gunk then it could back up you're engine when used.... which can be fixed by getting a special cleaner that you run through ur engine and oil tank.

But before you use the cleaner i suggest taking it to a chevy dealership for inspection

  2. Sounds like a fuel or spark problem

    A few things to check:

Check and replace spark plugs and wires.

    Check air filter for mess/wear.

Run a bottle of injector cleaner through the engine.

    If all else fails:

Run seafoam engine treatment following directions on the bottle for removing buildup of carbon in the motor.

  3. have some one push down on accelerator in park. hold hand over end of exhaust pipe and see how much exhaust is coming out. may have to compare to a another truck. if it seems to be less, sounds like catylitic converter is stopped up, or some other exhaust blockage. go to a muffler shop and have it checked.

  4. When you are having trouble with symptoms such as those, first thing is change the fuel filter.  If symptoms persist, further diagnosis's is required.

  5. It could be the spark plugs or a fuel filter because i have the same truck as you and it was doing the same thing so i changed the fuel filter and that helped a lot but also check your air filter and try to get like a k and n filter take off the eexistingmetal filter thing and just put on the new one.

P.S. You may need to make a bracket for it
