My 1996 Chrysler town and Country Alarm Set lights comes on and my gauges all go out when it comes on.?

I have a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country and my gauges all go out (speedometer, rpm, fuel, and whatever else) and my alarm set light comes on. It also is causing my van not to turn on because when I put the key on and if my gauges don't work, the Van doesn't start up but if the gauges work upon start up, the van starts up. The Van does start up all the time, but what I meant to say is that it will not stay on, it turns on for about 4 seconds. I am just trying to find out. It feels like if I have a loose connection because sometimes the radio skips as well and some of the lights don't work. But Does anyone know what it could be? Please let me know. Thank You!

(Also, The battery is new, and I had the alternator and starter checked out at the local part stores.)_

Main computer. When it goes out you will have the problems you describe. Very expensive fix only available at your local Chrysler dealer.
