My 1996 GMC Sierra is posting this OBD code P0146 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 3). What does it mean and how do I fix it? Will it hurt the vehicle if I drive in the mean time (100 miles or so)

replace the rear o2 sensor....short time ok but get this fixed as soon as you can...when that ses light is on your truck is in a form of whats called "limp home mode"....the computer is running off a preset program not what is actually happening with your engine your fuel mileage will be affected...and so will numerous other sensors....this is a not often replaced o2 are you sure about this code....disconnect your battery for 5 minutes then connect it and see how long it takes for the ses light to come on...but before doing this...if your radio says theft lock...make sure you know the code
