Question:

My 1999 Saturn SL2 CD player stopped working. I'd like to upgrade it, not replace it with the same thing.

But all the in-dash CD players I find on BestBuy.com say that they don't fit in my car. What I'd like is one with an iPod hookup so I can plug my iPod directly in rather than using a radio tuner for it, and I'd also like XM in my car. Is this possible?

  1. You need the dash kit # 993105. This is a vehicle specific kit that will only fit your car. Use this if you are fetting a single din radio and use 993100 if you get a double din radio. I recommend a good quality sony radio prolly the Sony CDXGT820IP. This is a good radio that has the ipod cable included in the box (which is like 40 bucks) and you can get a Sony tuner box for the XM (they are bout 80 bucks). if you went this route for everything you need you will prolly spend about 400 with everything installed including your XM radio. This is a really good radio and I am a huge fan of Sony HU's. It has everything that you need to get what you specified. Go to Circuit City and they will be able to get you taken care of. I personally don't like BB and would rather stick with CC (b/c of past problems with radio installs). I hope everything works out if you got more questions email me wowboy05@yahoo.com DUECES!!!!!

  2. You need a dash kit to make an aftermarket deck fit...about 10 to 20 bucks
