  1. NYC is the most versatile city in America.  You could all go to a Fondue restaurant and eat till your heart's content then go watch a great show on Broadway...

You can go ice skating and reserve the whole rink for your party.

You could take everyone in your party to a taping of some of the shows there.  Don't they have a ton of shows they tape in NY?   I know for sure Rachael Ray does her show from NY.

You could also rent a cabin in Upstate and have everyone meet there for a weekend.

  2. Well your not old enough to go to clubs or pubs...maybe go to CANADA.  Legal drinking age is 19.  Not sure where you live.  But Toronto is not to far away.  NYC! lots to do there.  Broadway shows, comedy clubs, many fine restuarants.  Can't go wrong.  Have fun and happy birthday.

  3. CLUB HOPPIN!!

  4. hit all the hot clubs with your friends! And rock out in NYC!

  5. I would suggest hitting the Village. Bowlmor lanes has black light bowling, with generally very cool music. If you go there, you might not even want to go clubbing on the same night. There are TONS of good restaurants in that area as well. Patsy's, if you like Italian, is near Bowlmor, and is willing to serve family style portions, if you wanted to order a few things and share with your friends. Pyramid is a fun club that has different themes on various nights, though you'll want to call ahead to make sure the night you go isn't exclusively 21 & up.  Ditto on Webster Hall, which is much larger, and far more mainstream.

Chicalicious is a desert bar on 10th St (East Side) that has really impressive gourmet offerings, like pink peppercorn ice cream, white chocolate mousse, and of course, always something chocolate. I strongly recommend choosing one of the three course prix-fixee options.

Grab a copy of the Village Voice to research club options, and check out the restaurant reviews as well.

Consider Yaffa Cafe (on St Marks) for ecclectic food with great, funky ambience, Bruxelles for posh-as-h**l high end fare, Angelo & Maxie's for expensive steak (park ave south), City Crab (also Park ave south) for expensive seafood,  Otto (on 8th st) for famous chef association, and Gray's Papya (hot dogs, on 6th ave at 8th st) or anything with the name "Ray" in the title (pizza) for authentic every day city food. Apple Cafe is an excellent Vietnamese restaurant with vegetarian and non vegetarian choices, in an upscale seeting, with reasonable prices, good music, and a nice, central location near Washington Sq Park, on NYU campus.

If you wanted to get your big day off to an earlier start, go see Blue Man Group or Stomp, since you'd already be in that area.

It's NYC, so it's tought to go wrong.

Have a great time. Happy birthday.
