My 1st year mbbs results are out and i hav failed ?

i dont know wat 2 do abt it ...wd 2 marks in anat theory and 8 in physio theory ....da re-exam dates are out ..i hardly have a month ....and i wll have 2 appear for the practicals as well ..even though i have passed them ....i have lost on 6 months of my med, career ..........wll sumbdy pls let me kno what consequences is this going to have on my pg entrance .....and how should i deal wd it

  1. Did you mean you failed by 2 and 8 marks?Why don't you apply for revaluation and recounting(if your institute allows it)?

    Even it that doesn't work out,it'll be fine ,girl.With the marks you got in your first attempt,1 month of rigorous prep will see you through.6 months is quite a lot of time,I know,but it isn't much when you compare how long your whole medical education will take.How you do in your MBBS will have no bearing whatsoever on your PG entrance.The PG institute will only want to look at your MBBS certificate.


  2. Don't lose heart.Starting immediately,put that extra effort in your studies and concentrate on securing the

    necessary grade that will pull you through.You should

    not worry about your PG chances at this stage.Think positive.I know you can do it.When you are one of the chosen few to have secured a seat in the medical

    stream,obviously it must mean that you are smart and that you have it in you to achieve what you set out to do.Go to it.Good Luck.
