My 2 1/2 year old neutered cat is leaking large amounts of clear fluid from, I think his r****m. ?

I have an appointment for him at the Vets in 40 mins. But I thought I would still ask.

Does any one know what might be causing this? There is no odor or color to it.

I don't have a diagnosis for you so for that I'm sorry but likely it's not super serious.

Make sure you let the vet know about other behavior like eating, sleeping, activity level...is he normal otherwise?

You might want to take in a stool sample, too...just in case the vet asks for it.

Lastly, congrats on actually getting him an appointment at the vet rather than relying on yahoo to do a vets job!  Way to go!

I have never heard of that happing before and I worked for a vet for 2 years!. Let us know what that is will you? and good luck I hope its nothing serious maybe just an infection of his anal glands is all.
