Do you think it is safe for both of them to have this surgery at the same time ?? MY youngest daughter just turned 2 last week is it safe for her to be put to sleep at such an early age ?

  1. My nephew was born with a cleft pallet and had to have surgery when he was about a year old. They put him to sleep and unhinged his jaw and fixed him right up. He woke up just fine.

  2. If you trust your ENT, then have the surgery, if your children's lives depend on it right now then have the surgery right away. Get a second option, that always heps in the long run.

  3. The sooner that they come out, the easier the recovery will be. I had mine taken out as an adult and it is extremely painful!  The recovery time is much shorter for children and the pain is less.

  4. I understand your concern... But at the same time, it will help them breath better, eat better, and sleep better. My boyfriend got his taken out and the doctor says that they do those procedures all the time.

    I wouldn't be to worried.

  5. If you do it do them both at the same time.  It'll be a lot easier on you not having to do it twice and they'll have eachother as little companions.

  6. I read this article below and unless your kids adenoids are inflamed dont let them get removed.by the time they are teenagers they are all but gone!

  7. No Surgery is safe, all comes with a risk. It depends on how ill the children are. Best of Luck
