My 2 daughters who eat lunches at school, one got sick saturday and the next monday?

there is no fever and none of my other 3 kids are sick.. the nurse said there was quite a bit of throwing up at school.. the girls are complaing of stomach cramps bad..thats how it starts, and when they throw up they are fine for hours, then they do it again. by the evening, my one daughter was fine.. is this food poisoning or stomach flu???

Food poisoning starts out with vomitting and continues with even more vomitting and diareah also. It takes several days for a person to get better at all. What your girls have is a stomach virus.

Most food poisoning happens within 1-48 hours after eating the  bad food.  Because the onset of illness was so long after eating, it makes me think that a basic stomach/intestinal virus is going around.

I would check with the school, because you said that the nurse said that there were others throwing up also right?

Sounds like food poisning to me.
