My 2 mo old baby now when tired straightens out body so cant put in swing she used to love. any ideas why?

At some point all babies discover that they can make you do what they want and they can have an influence on what is around them.

when they cry you feed them or pick them up. what yours is doing is just then next step.

Now if it is just you putting them in the swing then fine stop don't do it

I guess they don't like it any more. If the do still like it, then they will soon change their minds and let you put them in.

On the other hand if you need to put them in the car seat, you must show them you ARE in charge and they are going in whether the like it or not. Yes they will scream but you must show you are in charge now or it will be 10 times worse as they get older & you may even totally loose control of them by the time they are a teenager.

my friend let her child do what ever it wants. she said well shes only a baby and it does no harm. But she is now 3 years old nearly 4, today she throw her mums phone on the floor just to see what would happen. We think it was because mum had ignored her screaming at her when she was on the phone earlier. then she got a foam ball and started bitting bits out of it, Within a few minutes it was only fit for the bin.

So if it truly does not matter then let them have their way, If not then you must show you are the BOSS and not them.

it will save a lot food being thrown around your kitchen later

I agree with the other answer that "she doesn't like it".

Babies at that age can't do much to communicate. Crying and arching their back is about it.

One of our (twin) girls will arch when she's protesting, we actually nicknamed her "Archie" for the times she is particularly protesting!

Don't worry, it will get easier when they hit 4 months :p

What really works great for us is the Baby Bjorn carrier. Probably any carrier would work. Even now at 8.5 months, when they get fussy and don't want to sit in their boucy chair or whatever, strapping them into the Baby Bjorn is like magic, plus we can go and do other things while they are strapped in!

she doesnt like it anymore.....she can't talk so she stretches out as a way of telling you!

stop trying to put her in there.....try something new!!!!
