  1. That is what newborns are supposed to do. My son is 4 months, and he just recently started opening and closing his hands. She will do it when she is ready.

  2. They open their hands on their own when they are ready.  Just put your little finger on the palm of her hand and she might grasp it.

  3. that is what all babies do they start opening and closing their hands at around 3 months.

  4. THAT IS WHAT NEWBORNS DO ..THEY HAVE CLOSED FIST..NOT UNTIL ABOUT 3 MONTHS OLD ,WILL THEY START OPENING THEM

  5. babies love to keep their hands tight,i think god made them like that.just l;eave her alone, she is so cosy ,why do u want to disturb her,as she grows older that habit would change

  6. Nothing. It's normal. Their hands are fists for a few months, it's nothing to worry about. Don't pull on them.

  7. that's normal. It's a ingrained reflex they have until about 3 months old.

  8. Leave her alone.

  9. Go about your business and pay it no mind.

  10. get a small toy age appropriate and open her and place the toy inside  she will grasp onto it and eventually she will be more willing to open up that fist

    by the way its normal

  11. your baby should open her hands if you blow or play with them if not put baby food on them and then she might

  12. i read somewhere that is a sign of downs syndrome. take the baby to the doctor.

  13. Babies are like that.  It is perfecly normal.  They have this reflex and they start to open up their hands when they grow up.  They loose it little by little and start opening them up more at about 2-3 months.

  14. Don't worry :)  This is completely normal.  She most likely won't open her hands for another month or so, even then she will keep the closed most of the time.  My son is 6 months and he still closes his fists every now and again.

  15. that's normal babies usually don't open their hands until they are about 3 months old

  16. i wouldn't worry but if it concerns you that much bring it up at your baby's next doctor appointment.

  17. My son kept his hands fisted for around the first 3 months.  There is nothing wrong, they are just used to keeping them like that.  You don't need to do anything...she will grow out of it.
