  1. When we moved, my cat has a fear of cars, so we had to give her kitty Valium for the 13 hr trip. She got this little layer of skin that covered up part of her eyes and after the valium wore off, it went away. Maybe your kitten has it because of something in her system? And if not, she could be blind...are her eyes glassy like?

  2. Time for these babies to see a vet for a proper diagnosis and treatment. And a good time to set a schedule of the inoculations they will need.

    Good Luck!

  3. It's probably just gunk (slime) in their eyes!  It's normal, clean them out.

  4. if the 'thin layer of skin' is red, than it is the third eye lid, which indicates something is wrong. either way i would take kitty to the vet, with kitty being so young, you can't be to careful. Good Luck!

  5. It sounds like it could be cataracts, they ended up sending my mum's cat totally blind.  They can be operated on, so I suggest you go to a vet and find out for certain.

It could also be a virus which has that effect on cats, but either way I suggest you see a vet, as if it is the virus, your kitten will need drugs and almost certainly eye drops.

Good luck, I hope kitty is OK!
