I go tomorrow for my 2 week check up. I had my son 2 weeks ago by c-section. And I know I have to have my sterry strips taken off. Well I know its gonna be like a bandaid ripping off but does it feel any different since its over the incision?? And he said he wants to give me bc then as well. But what else will happen at my 2 week check up? Im really nervous to have those things pulled off. Im just aftraid its gonna hurt. Any answers would be helpful!

  1. Yes, it is going to hurt, but that's all part of the process and everyone who has had a cesarean goes through the discomfort.  Just take deep breaths and try to relax. Remember that the pain will only last for a few seconds and then it will be over.

Your incisions will be checked to make sure that they are healing properly, he will ask you about your pain level, and he will ask you if you have been doing what you are supposed to (taking meds, drinking lots of fluids, not lifting anything heavy).

  2. At my 2 week check up they just took the staples out and I didnt even see my doctor the nurse did it. But they dont do to much they wait till the 6 weeks check up before they do anything. Like the vignal exam again and things like that. This one should be really easy!

  3. its pretty numb at the incision you'll feel a little pressure maybe a pinch or two.. its not that bad..don't get yourself all worked up..you've already done the hard part!
