My baby boy has a bunch of red bumps under his left eye and on his eye lid and also under his right eye i just noticed it yesterday and it hasn't gotten much worse. It doesn't hurt him or itch him and he doesn't have a fever. He has a doctors appointment on thursday so I'm gonna ask the doctor then. But i was wondering if anyone knew what this was and if its potentially dangerous to my son.

thanks in advance

  1. light dose cortizone  creme.(1%)

  2. All young baby's will have some form of rash here and there for the most part it could from anything even the detergent you use to wash his or her clothes to an insect bite or even food ,trust me it may not be anything at all even heat, .if it keeps spreading then go to the doctor immediately if not wait until your next visit ,watch it

  3. Could be a simple thing like a reaction to the detergent you are washing his clothing in or what you are using to bath him.

  4. Its called "baby Acne"  you can google it and get all kinds of info regarding it.  Its not serious and goes away on its own.  Just dont mess with it.  Make sure not to get any lotions, creams, oils, etc.. around that area, and just wipe it clean with a warm cloth.  My 4 week old has the same thing.  Its totally normal and is believed to be from the surge of hormones a Mothers body gives off to the baby before its born .  Hope this helped, and dont worry about it.

  5. i think it mit be from the heat. my lil girl breaks out with a rash too

  6. Baby Acne... It's very common.  Wash his face normally.  Don't use any creams or lotions.

  7. sounds like it could just be baby rash. my son was always pretty rashy until he was about 3 months old. my doctor said it was just dry skin (from the weather, heat rash), and to put lotion on it. the lotion would diffidently help, i put it on every night after his bath. try a little lotion. even if its not baby rash, i don't think its anything serious, and i cant see how lotion would hurt. try something really gentle. maybe something hypoallergenic. =) hope this helped.

  8. It's most likely just a heat rash ... Nothing to worry about ... But it wouldn't hurt to mention it to his doctor .. Good Luck...

  9. might just be heat rash nothing to be concerned about a lot of babies get it
