  1. If she likes milk give her pediasure. Just make sure it's ice cold then at least that way you don't have to worry about her not getting enough nutrients until she is open to trying new foods. She is probably going through a phase of control boundaries.

  2. i think what you should do is cut the food into little pieces and make it in to the shape of her favourite cartoon character or what she likes watching on tv if you give the food to her she might get exited and have a little taste if this doesnt work recomend  her to a doctor they might help

  3. When my daughter was 2 she was the same way!! I was always looking at other parents thinking what did I do wrong LOL. Gave her Vitamins.  I would still put vegetables on her plate and put butter on them and wouldn't make a big deal about it.  Needless to say shes fine now and ten years old. Eats almost every Vegetable. Think its just a phase!!

  4. the baby is still young she will develop the taste when she ready..I had the same problem for a while & still to this day at age four she will only eat a chosen few..but she loves apples, banana's , some grapes but she is in love with green beans & she still has a small cup of milk..just try new stuff every now & again she will be fine..maybe even try some vitamins under her doctors ok..Good luck I've been there..

  5. you do need to keep trying to get her to et healthier things. I know it is hard with picky toddlers...I have had 3 of them. Try things like the tri-color pasta that has some veggie puree in the ingrediants (my kids used to fight over the spinach ones). I do like the idea someone else gave of pureeing up fruit and making popsicles out of it. Since she likes rice, put a few peas and small cut up bits of carrot in it...tell her it is "rainbow rice"...you might even be able to shredd some chicken finely and mix it in too. My youngest loves it when I put frozen fruit in his hot oatmeal. Did you know that frozen blueberries turn it blue? and cut up strawberries make it pink? He also will fight me for dried fruit...I get trail mix with dried cranberries, bananna chips, apricots, raisins, kiwi, and several nuts in it and he loves it. As for meat...some kids have a hard time with it. My oldest had food aversions to meat for years. He was 5 before he ate a hamburger. and we had to lie to him and tell him lunchmeat was made of soy for him to eat it. he lived on chicken nuggets and hot dogs for years. It took my youngest a while, but he now eats diced up ham and turkey happily. Today I asked him if he wanted PB&J or turkey for lunch...and he said turkey. he also loves cheese. keep working at it and eventually she will try it. Maybe keep a bowl of fresh fruit cut up near where she plays...she may shock you some day and eat it when you are not looking.

  6. Mistake #1 - You introduced a toddler to junk food.

I think you should take your little one to the doctor.  If she's not eating a healthy meal on a daily basis, she may have some health concerns.  I knew someone who introduced soda to her 1 and a half year old. the little one lives on junk food almost on a daily basis.  needless to say, she's anemic.  At age 2!  could you imagine that?

  7. you could try blending fruits and vegetables into a smoothie type drink and freeze them as popcycles.  Most kids like popcycles and then she will be getting her fruits and veggies.
