  1. It sounds like she is definitely lactose intolerant (unless the milk has gone bad).  You should make an appointment with your pediatrician.

  2. Has she always had milk and is just now acting this way , or it the milk a new thing for her?  either way it sounds like intolerance.  I'd call your Dr.

  3. she might be lactose intolerent

  4. She is likely lactose intolerant, as others have noted.  Take her to the doctor.  If she has been throwing up every time you give her whole milk, please do not serve it to her again.

If you choose not to or are unable to take her to the doctor right away for whatever reason, then try this:

Buy some soy milk at the store (I prefer the Silk brand in Vanilla flavor) and serve this to her with her cereal or buy some Silk brand chocolate milk if you have no objection to serving the occasional chocolate milk.  (In our home, we make chocolate milk a special occasion treat, not a daily thing, but it would certainly work for this trial.)  If she responds well to the soy milk and has no problems, then you likely have your answer -- she is lactose intolerant and should not be served cow's milk, and she should be taken to the doctor at your earliest opportunity for an evaluation and parental education and suggestions regarding dealing with lactose intolerance in children.

    Good luck!

  5. I think she would've observed someone doing this or made conception to detest milk. Or you would have given her in the wrong time like while playing...

Just you make her feel that milk is not a hatred thing but we need to love it...... very tastier. So you entice her by drinking milk in front of her as if you enjoy drinking milk.

  6. She is probably Lactose Intolerant, unless you have always given her milk before. Did you give her 2% or skim before? It might be because the sudden amount of fat in the whole milk. Here's what you should do:

    1. STOP giving whole milk to her

    2. Do not give her any lactose products

    3. Talk to your child's pediatrician

    4. Do what the doctor perscribes

I would reccomend Lactaid dissolving pills, but since she is so young, she couldn't keep them in her mouth. For now, until she's older, give her Lactaid milk.

  8. Intolerance, children can become allergic/intollerant to foods they have always eaten, get your doc to check her out.

  9. I think she might be reacting to the fat in the milk. People have been known to gag on the fat of whole milk.
