I've been having a problem with my daughter not eating for several months now. I have taken her to the doctor..he says he is fine...took her to 2 other doctors..all is well...I've tried making food fun for her, tried not giving any snacks in between meals, reducing liquids, putting her food back in the fridge for later and if she acted hungry taking it out and giving it back to her. Now recently she has stopped eating her favortie food (foods which i kinda relied on for her to eat) all these the doctos I have taken her to suggested as well as some friends and family members. I'm really concerned for my kids nutrition. It seems as though she is living on milk, cereal, and V8 fusion. Other than not eating she is a healthy kid, everything has come up normal in tests, and she is happy and playing all the time. Please help if you can. I'm so frustrated and upset about my darling not eating :(

  1. Does she have any cartoons or adults she looks up to? If she does tell her that they eat this and then maybe shell eat it.

  2. Well um maby if you stop worry and stop trying to get her to eat maby she might start to eat if not she starts to become unhealthy and unwell you should take her to the doctor. but she might start to eat as she gets older.

  3. wow my daughter is going through the same thing right now she is 1  1/2 though and for the past 2 wks she isnt eating like my piggy used to she still eats a little portion of her food but not like before but she is drinkin alot more milk maybe it is just something they go through

  4. All toddlers go through this stage, honestly, and I know it is frustrating when most days will pass and all they have eaten is a couple of dried apricots and some milk, but it will pass, in time.

My dr told me not to make a big deal of it and just to keep offering. He also said it is because they stop growing at such a fast rate so they dont need as much as when they are going through their fisrt 2 yrs.

    Good luck
