  1. That's a FAT lie. a handgun is too heavy and the trigger pull to heavy for a 2 year old. and even if he had fired it would have been aimed at the floor, not at your head! get a life and stop asking these stupid questions!

  2. Well hes 2 years old. At that age he doesn't really know what things are at this state in life. I am glad to hear that you are ok and safe

Your father should be disciplined for leaving his gun out in the open.

  3. Deliberately? A 2 year old? I don't think so buddy. He doesn't even know what he did let alone did he plan to do it. He's way too young for you to punish him for that as well. Put the dang gun away, far out of his reach, it shouldn't even be in the house if you have a 2 yr old. That's just asking for trouble, why would you leave it anywhere he could get it? You should be punished for not paying attention and for putting your child's life in danger!

  4. Punish your father for not keeping it from a place where your 2 yr old can get to it!!!!  Are you out your mind thinking he could do it on purpose, he doesn't know fully whats right and worng, and doesn't know everything in this wrold!!! HIS 2.

  5. Just curious...is this the same dad who beats you with a belt when he gets home from the pub?

You're clearly making up these silly questions for some sad reason.  Find a new way to get your jollies.

  6. yeah punish the ADULT who left it where your 2 yo could reach it, someone should be counting their blessings because they aren't dead since it nearly hit you in the head and THANK GOD your Son didn't kill himself!

  7. like your two year old know what he was doing? The was just a story about a 2 year old that killed himself on CNN today. He found his fathers gun under a pillow and shot himself in the eye and died. Very sad. You don't need to punish your 2 year old, you need to punish your father for leaving a gun where your 2 year old could get it. If you are going to have guns, you need to deal with them in a responsible way. If you are blaming your 2 year old, you need some serious help.

  8. You need a real hobby aside from jerking people's chains here. Get a life and then come back when you aren't living in fantasyland.

  9. He's 2.

I'm thinking he didn't do it deliberately.

  10. Maybe he's trying to get back @ you for the Elmo costume, maybe he's growing tired of it, try changing things up and going for a different costume. I'm not sure what the kids are into nowadays cartoon and TV wise but if he's anything like they are around my way then it will probably be all " Yo ***** where's my crack pipe. Why the F@*K aren't you out on that corner getting paid" BS.

You should punish him by making him fix the hole he made in your kitchen wall dressed as Bob the Builder whilst standing over him saying " You can fix it Bob" might teach him some humility, even if it didn't, it would still be funny as F*@K.

  11. talk to your two year old and tell hm why its wrong to play with gun, punish him as you wish but make sure he knows why its bad

  12. Punish your 2 year old for something he does not comprehend...NO. Punish your father for leaving a LOADED, UNLOCKED, GUN in a child's reach..YES.

  13. I don't think that your son diliberately tried to point it at you and really try to "kill" you,  so don't ever think that.  At his age he has no concept of death or the idea of what he's really doing to you.  I think the best thing to do is to sit down with him and tell him that what he was holding is something very very hurtful and that it is not something he should play with.  As far as your father,  punish him!  He shouldn't ever have his handgun out where a 2 year old can reach it.  I am so sorry to hear this happened to you, i hope my advise helped!

  14. Are you kidding?  A grown man left a loaded handgun for a 2 year old to find and the 2 year old IS punished? Please tell me you are kidding. He doesnt know. YOu teach him that is a no-no but you let your father know that wasnt cool either....he couldve shot himself then you and your father would be in jail.

  15. You shouldn't punish him, as the gun was placed in an area where he could reach it.  That's either your fault or your father's fault.  2 year olds do not have the capacity to form intent, so he did not do this deliberately.

  16. You don't punish a 2 year old for this.  He didn't know that he could have injured or killed you.  You put the gun in a safe place, like a locked gun cabinet, or a locked storage box that's high enough off the ground that the kid can't find it until he's about 30.

If you have to punish someone, punish your father for leaving it laying around loaded.

  17. Absolutely not. My two year wouldn't know it was real. HE would want to play with it, also. He doesn't need to be punished, he needs to be told that he can't touch stuff like that because it could really hurt him. Two year olds can understand things, but they need to be explained in a way they can understand. But you also need to keep those kinds of things completely out of his reach or next time, he could accidentally shoot himself. Please just make sure it is out of his reach so that it never happens again.
