  1. I know this seem nuts but i use to always do this with my sister when they were little sit at the window and see what shapes the rain drops made after it dripped down window always ask them to tell me what it looks like to them it was fun. Another idea is be the rain and thunder make a rain stick with cardboard tube like paper towl roll custrion paper and beans, be the thunder by banging on an old bakeing sheet. What I did for my brother was build him a fort he'd take over from there.

  2. At least you guys are bored and stuck inside due to rain.  It's going to be 112 out here in Phoenix, so we get stuck in the house all summer.  We do lots of trips to the library to get books (my 2 year old daughter and I), we have a box full of craft supplies that we dig into, of course there is the old reliable, cleaning of the house.  I try not to turn the tv on because really this time is very special, I just need to figure out what to do with it. Try looking for some indoor  games online, but sometimes 2 is too young for many games.

  3. Take him out in the rain and play in the puddles.

    Finger paint

Take a bubble bath with TONS and TONS of bubbles.

Tape paper on the walls and color the 'walls'.

    Blow Bubbles

Read books read lots and lots of books

Rip up lots and lots of paper and glue the ripped paper to whole sheets of paper.

  4. take him to if you have a YMCA around go there. they might have a kids program that will keep him active.

  5. Got any raincoats or umbrellas? If not, go outside for a few minutes anyways. Five minutes of rain won't hurt. My son LOVES the rain. He thinks it's so amazing that is falls out the sky and loves to let it hit his face and arms.

    Or...

How about baking some cookies brownies or something? Put the couch cushions together and make a fort...go to Target or Wal-Mart and walk around and buy him a little toy or something...play hide and seek (my son loves this).

Sorry you are so bored!! Hope this helps you and the little guy!!

  6. make some cookies! i do that when ever i have the time. my daughter loves it because she gets to poor in all the ingredients and of course tasting the dough.
