  1. It very normal and healthy for her not to watch TV. At least she doesn't end up running in to jerry springer show. Be thankful about it. Being active is good for her health. Sometime it's OK to watch TV like sesame street for up to 2 hours, but she doesn't have to be forced to watchh that show or other kids' shows. watching TV may cause obesity, which you don't have to worry about!!!

  2. yes that's normal and that's the way they should be.

  3. There is no reason for her to have to watch tv.  It is actually very healthy she isn't interested.  My 3 year old might watch a show for 2 minutes until she is on to something else!!

  4. Absolutely. Ignore the boob tube. Watching TV can ruin a little kid's attention span. And it's tough for kids to settle down/sleep after looking at the bright colors on the screen.

I know it can be totally exhausting for you to have an active kid but she will be much better off later in life.

  5. Yes, and be thankful.  She has a lot of energy.  Let her have fun being active instead of being a couch potato.  It is exhausting for us parents, but we'll regret it later if we try to stifle it.

  6. yes you should be thrilled that your child doesn't have interest in Tv

  7. thats great. you want your kids to be active rather than want to watch tv

  8. Yes. It's the way it should be.

  9. Yes. It is very normal. Though my son is only 14 month's old, he has NO interest in the TV. So, I don't push. The only time, and even then he's too busy talking, is when he's tired, and wants to cuddle on the couch with me before bed. Don't rush this. She is going to be just fine.

Actually, if you can influence books rather than tv is better for her in the long run. Good luck.

  10. Thank you for this question, as my 16mos old son is the same way - he has NO interest with the TV - even when I put in a DVD - wants nothing to do with it.  I'm so happy to learn this is normal.  We are blessed to have active children :)

  11. That is a great thing...You don't want your child to be a couch potato watching TV...Being active in or outdoors is better...

  12. yes. how great! take the time to teach puzzles /word games / art and

crafts/reading /introduce various types of music ..let her dance to different music since she is active.
