  1. replace the door jam switch ,its probably gone out, when they do the light will remain on,the interior light will sometimes stays on also, you just need a new switch for it,that was a common problem with those an other Chrysler products, good luck.

  2.   I had a problem like that on a ranger and i just sprayed the heck out of the latch on the door and it finally fixed it. The button that people are talking about on mine was just for the dome light but done nothing for the door ajar light.

  3. Try disconnecting the power to the battery, it normally resets just about everything.

  4. One or more of the door switches is/are faulty.

  5. Check when you open the door if the bit where the door closes has a button or a switch and use tape or something like that to hold it in the closed position.

  6. There is sensor on each door; a little rubber grommet or a plastic k**b that is depressed by the door when it is closed. It is usually located below the door latch itself but closer to the door sill. It will be like a button that will push in. When you locate it turn the key in the ignition to show the door ajar light. Push the sensor in and see if the light turns off...if not you will need to replace the sensor.
