My 2001 chevy tracker's ac blew a fuse . I disconnected the lead to the compressor and it still blew a fuse???

I disconnected the compressor and tried another fuse and it blew. Now this is telling me that I have a short somewhere.I know it is not the fan switch but, possibly the ac switch,unless I have a direct connection to ground elsewhere in the harness. Any thoughts?

Go to the suzuki answers and ask them cause you have a sidekick rebadged as a chevy.  They sold a lot more sidekicks than trackers so that group will probably be able to help you if this is a common problem.  Good Luck!

you have a shoirt to ground somewhere in that circuit. you will have to trace back thru the wiring to find it.  It will take some time but that's what is needed. Good luck.
