My v6 mustang is having some problems. When i turn the car on it shakes and jolts in place. When i shift it into reverse the car seems like it struggles to go but it still does. Also the whole engine is shaking but only in intervals. The engine service soon light just came on I am going to take it in to a mechanic but i would just like to know if anyone out there knows whats going on. Thanks

  1. You need a tune-up..

  2. It's either a fuel or spark problem. If one or more of your sparkplugs is fouled, the engine would run roughly and be down on power. This could be either the plugs or coil packs.

Or if your fuel filter was clogged, the engine would be fuel-starved, and might behave the same way.

Another cause may be dirty fuel that clogged the fuel injectors. You could try buying a can of fuel system cleaner to see if that helps.  Good Luck!

  3. You have a furd.

there is no hope for you.
