My 2005 toyota corolla trunk will not open with keys or the release inside

i tried to open it today and it won't open with the keys either. the release button is kind of loose and not hard. i don't really know what happened to it because i'm the only one that drives that car

Try pushing down on the trunk while turning the key. The key should then turn far enough to release the latch. Check the rear bumper to make sure someone didn't run into it in a parking lot. The bumper could be pushed up against the bottom of the deck lid putting pressure on the latch.
