My 2006 gmc denali radio is getting nothing but static. any help?

when i turn on the radio in my suv i get nothing but static. it is a stock radio. even with cd and xm nothing but static

sounds like the "radio" chord on the back of the head unit is either broken or disconnected. take the thing to a shop or rip it out yourself and have a look.
