my baby boy has the flu and is really sick. His nose is continually running like a tap and he has a fever and groans and moans. I took hm to the dr yesterday and he's on antibiotics, but does anyone have any practical advice to help him feel better? Any home remedies? Also how long does it usually last? How often should i give him nurofen?

  1. Thera-flu , that tea works amazing but im not so sure if you can give that to your baby..read in to it though because it really helps

    THERAFLU

  2. Well if he has a fever I would clothe him lightly...

Give him motrin every 6 hours.... Wait 30 minutes...

Give him a nice lukewarm bath... let him inhale the steam to loosen his flem.

Give him some saline every 1-2 hours depending how bad it is...

make sure your house is clean!!!

    Free from dust...

    Avoid A/C

    Avoid ciagrette smoke

    Wash your hands !!!

And undivided attention and love, he should feel better :)

  3. No one should dare give you advice about home remedies. Nor should you take that advice for your child.

You can safely give him a lukewarm bath to help bring down his temperature. Keep him in light pajama's and just give him lots of cuddles.

If you want to know what else you can do for him (other than the antibiotics) you should call your doctor.
