My 2nd grader is turning 7 on Sunday and she is having her party on Saturday. After all the "hoopla"....?

I would go to the beach and have a barbeque...If you don't know a good beach, just celebrate it at home and have cake and icecream!

Bake her a cake, pack up some good picnic foods (sandwiches, fruit salad, soda) and head to the local park. Maybe take a plastic table cloth or an old printed sheet and spread it over a picnic table, or take a nice quilt and lay it on the ground.
