Dear Friends,

Final question, why was he upset that one of his son became muslim?

I will not mind your answer. I am reading about Mahatma Gandhi (My experiments with Truth) and I am quite impressed with how he has truthfully mentioned his faults.

Thank you

Rehman of Multan

  1. rehman bhai this is a same question as me i put it few days before,

i also think although he is a father of nation becoz he have much responsibility and another countries's son's duty. he ignore first time his sone in south africa where his son wanna be berister but gandhi ji want him to be a freedom fighter. the conflict start from there.

then slowly slowly gandhi ji just broke his son';s berister'd dream although gandhi ji's son is also not good in study he gave exams for matric so many times but all time failed.

at the end we can say that gandhi ji cant understand his son fully and just ask him also to do the things according to his dream the freedom of india. but gandhi ji is a father of nation no matter if he cant be a good father of his son but he is a good father of thw whole nation.

  2. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is his correct name. The Name given to him included the Title Mahatma, which is the Hindu term of respect for a brahmin sage.

Like all great leaders who fight for the freedom of their fellow men, their paternal children are at times neglected for the good of the greater cause.

Gandhi was a man who practiced what he preached, as far as the cause in which he believed in allowed him to. He loved his children, but as most Indians called him Father, there were no doubt at times he forgot just where his first priorities lay.

  3. He went wrong when he did not listen to Nataji Bose to overthrow the British during the WW2 when they were weak but instead helped them, he was good with politics, he did nothing good for India, the British gave up all their colonies after the War, Indians didn't fight the British out!!

  4. I strongly feel that Mahatma Gandhi was not only a good father, but also not a good husband as he due to his devotion towards the nation and people of India, he did nothing for his family. noinot get
