How do I get it off? I tried washing it out & combing it out but it's still there- should I use a dandruff shampoo?

  1. Olive oil, Olive oil, Olive oil!!! I actually removed my babies cradle cap yesterday. I couldn't believe how well it worked. I just lathered about a table spoon of the stuff on his head and then combed his hair the opposite direction (from face to back of head), being sure not to scratch his skin but just to rub away the dried up skin that it cradle cap. Just start at the edge of the yellow and then work your way in. I did all this in the tub, then just shampooed his head like normal to get rid of the oil.

  2. baby oil on the scalp after a bath and use the soft baby brush and do circular motion brushing...it takes more then one day to get rid of it, so be patient...dont use medicated shampoo on your baby.

  3. My son had cracle cap, what I did was when I gave him a bath I would rub baby oil on his head and then let it sit for a few minutes, then you gently try to I guess remove it with a baby comb, then wash his hair with regular baby shampoo.  I had to do this 2 or three different times, but it worked, my baby is cradle cap free now!  Good luck, hope this works for you!

  4. A little bit of baby oil, and gently massage into your bubs head :)

  5. trust me

it will come out try to not make him wear the cap

just keep in mind that it will come out by itself. and DO NOT put the cap on him.

  6. You can go to toys r us or babies r us. They sell this stull called cradle cap that you can put in his hair and comb it out. If not then you can put a little bit of baby oil in his scalp and comb it out that way with a fine tooth comb.

  7. My daughter is 3 months old and has had cradel cap in her ears for a while now, it's cleared up though.  What I did was put vaseoline on it and leave it in for a few hours and then it will just wipe off.  Try doing that everyday until most is cleared, and then also, try to make sure you are not using any scented shampoos on him because it makes it worse.  I can't even use soap around my daughter's ear or they will flare up the next day.  Good Luck, and don't worry because it usually self clears within 9 months.

  8. I tried all sorts to get rid of it and the only thing that worked was, after his bath i rubbed some baby oil on it and left it until the flakes softened then got a very very very soft toothbrush and very gently brushed it off.

Doesnt sound very nice but it worked.

  9. Some oil and rub it off

  10. Olive oil is good at getting rid of cradle cap or we used Calendula cream which is made from marigolds and worked a treat. We bought it from a chemist
