my 3 year old niece is being visited by (what she calls) a witch - she said the witch is "ugly" and grabs her hand (wrist) - she said the witch doesn't play, that she's "mean" to my niece

when my sis asked her what the witch does, my niece will grab her hands, hold them down, then put her little face REALLY close to my sisters...

what can i do to stop this? - she used to sleep thru the night at their old house, now in their new apt (for 2 months) she won't sleep thru the nite, she wakes up crying and runs to her mom's room...

  1. What I would do is cleanse the house. No not with holy water and a cross. I am pagan so I would clean it with White Sage, water, and sea salt. Lite the White sage and put the Sea Salt in the water walk around the house three times sprinkling the water and waving the White Sage around.

  2. The night camera is a good idea, but also, is she overly mentally stimulated before she goes to bed such as video games, very active and lively cartoons, or certain shows she has been watching. Also, is she eating right before she goes to bed? No food or drink 2 hrs or more before bed and no video games or very active television will help some. She may also be suffering enviromental anxiety, moving from one home to another and doesn't feel comfortable. After checking on her patterns before bedtime or to notice any other natural causes then I would rethink the situation. If this is not the case then she may be experiencing what no one else can. Children are very easily intimidated and some spirits do attack them before they do the adults. The childrens minds are more open than the adult mind. I would speak to the landlord about the history of that apartment prior to anyone moving in. Had anyone else felt or seen anything? What has happened in that particular section. Do some newspaper history on the apartments such as possible deaths, violence, police reported incidences, anything. Also, find out if there were other homes on that same property prior to the apartments construction. This may explain some of the occurences she is experiencing. She also may have chemical sensativity. This is similar to alergies in the way that it can mess not only with your sinuses but also like a chemical imbalance, especially with small children. Moving into this new enviroment can cause a chemical sensativity to the fresh paint, black mold (can't always see it), electrical appliances putting out high energy levels in the home (which is very dangerous as well), what ever the apartment manager used to clean the carpets with, there are just so many things that need to be ruled out prior to saying that a "ghost" or "witch " is visiting her. Personally, I would do all this research first, give the child a tigers eye stone and tell her to keep it under her pillow and it will help protect her from the negative energy "the witch", then if everything seems like nothing else is causing it then I would go about having the home cleansed and/or blessed depending on your religious beliefs. Feel free to e me if you have any other questions or if it seems like it gets worse. I can help you how to cleanse a home or banish a spirit.

Blessings to you and your family

Edit: I doubt it is a hag and it has nothing to do with her beauty. It is her spirit and her energy that they are drawn to. Even thought the apts have been renovated does not mean that everything is on the top level of undelining issues. I have worked for "renovation" commercial contractors and there is probably old insulation, a miss connected or wired box, and then there is the original flooring and behind the walls you will never know what you will find behind them. So do a more indepth search. Go to the local County tax websites and look for the Deed department or property tax evaluation site. There you can look up the property in question and see who owned the land prior to the apartment company buying it and building on it (in most cases). Try what I said before for a few more weeks and if this "thing" keeps agravating her then you would definately want to do a cleansing and/or blessing of the apt and maybe the land as well.

  3. She's not settling in well and is having "waking nightmares", where she is conscious but unable to move - the mind plays tricks and this makes her see an ugly visage, it's quite common and should stop soon.I would move her bed to another part of the room and leave a nightlight on, maybe sit with her until she's asleep for a while.

  4. Shes having problems settling in, but to put your mind to rest get some holy water and walk around the apt and bless the house making the sign of the cross with the water saying lord bless this home and every one in it in the name of Jesus Christ, when you have finished say 1 our father and 1 hail mary and 1 glory be,if you don't know the glory be here it is.while blessing yourself say (Glory be to the father and to the son and to the holy spirit amen)if you can do this with everyone living in the apt do,if you think it would be too heavy for the kids you can leave them out of it, but it might be reassuring for them to do it with you,but that's you own choice.

    Good Luck

    And God Bless

  5. Maybe there are weird shadows in her room at night.  Or maybe there is some sort of ghost there ...  hard to say, actually.

I would counter "mean witch" magick with Good Witch magick.  Make a magick wand with her, and tell her to keep it near her bed and when the "mean witch" comes, to use the magick wand against her.  Make the wand all pretty and sparkly, with glitter and stars.  Teach her a song to sing to make the mean witch go away.  Make some magick dust (a mixture of glitter and salt) to flick at the mean witch and make her go away.

In other words, empower your niece so that she doesn't feel that she is a victim of the mean witch.

It's most important to end her fear.  If this isn't just her imagination, but is a negative entity, they feed on fear and other negative emotions.  So, make it a game to banish the mean witch with good magick.

If it's a negative entity, it's also good to bring in windchimes, lots of pretty, happy songs, flowers, sunlight, nice incense, and other positive things to "starve" the negativity.  Personally, I would go into the little girl's room when she isn't there, and banish any negative energy by ordering it to go away and smudging the room with sage or sweet grass, but that's just me.

  6. Perhaps you should either do a cleansing of have one done.  I learned to do it once.  Take Holy Water and put a cross above every door and window starting at the back of the apt and ending at the door, and as you make a cross above each door/window.  (Always end at the door as you're chasing the spirit out.) say and mean...."Satan be gone, this house and all who are in it belong to the Lord."

    Hope this helps.

  7. Could it be a horrible repetitive nightmare , related to something seen on TV? When a person is 3 things seem very real... Set up a camera in her room, and watch what happens in the episodes?

  8. What you need is mean witch "Be Gone". Take a spray bottle fill with water add some glitter and label it as Witch Be Gone. Tell her when the witch appears that all she need to do is just spray it three times and the witch will be gone. Better yet have Mom spray her room before bed time and the witch won't appear as it's like insect repellent for witches.  My niece had monsters, this was how we got rid of them.

Of course, we used, Monster Be Gone.

  9. There are a few good answers here.  I will just add to some of them to complete this chore.  Children have a very strong essence that is why darkness is attracted to it.  She probably is seeing something.  Cleanse the house first with sage.  Be very stern when you repeat the words you will use to tell this energy to leave.  Once you have done this then seal the all entries with holy water or salt.  Leave the house for an hour or so.  When you return this should take care of your problem.  If not then please call someone with the experience to do it.   Do not wait too much longer.   Good Luck and Many Blessings
