His nose bleeds just doesn't drip out it pours out. He just turned 3 last month and that's about the time it started. I never had nose bleeds like that and neither did his father.

  1. my little cousin has been getting them since she started walking

pinch the bridge of his nose, and not just the tip of his nose

and then hold a tissue there, and if it doesn't stop in about 5 minutes, then i would take him to the doctor. it might be a problem with the cartilage in his nose that didn't form right, which is easily healed with more iron most of the time and protein

  2. I don't think you need to rush him to the ER (unless you can't control the bleeding) however I would give his doctor a call and set up an appointment.  It may be nothing but it should be checked out by his doctor.

  3. yes definitly. call your family doctor

  4. Dry air, perhaps? He's still pretty young so his nose is extremely sensitive. Try putting a humidifier in his room or in the area he's in a lot. I hope he's okay >_<

  5. when i was young i had chronic nosebleeds but my parents didnt when they were kids, and i grew out of it.

if he is easily bruised and his cuts dont heal as fast as they should he might have leukemia. BUT that is nothing you should worry about.

if you're really that worried, you should take him to a doctor to go get checked out.

  6. I would immediately take him to the doctor.  That's not normal.
