  1. I would see how they are first before keeping them home.  I want to also add that,  we need more parents like you!  You know your child is sick and instead of being selfish,  you are doing what's best.  Most parents wouldn't have cared and let their sick children go around others...  Thanks for being a great mum!!

  2. they are better off going to school cause if they aren't sick yet, staying home with brother will get hem the cooties for sure. Send them to hopefully avoid it. You don't want to keep them home anticipating sickness. Not to mention that is going to wreck havic on you as a preg momma. Watch out for you too. You don;t wanna catch a bug. Wash those hands and increase thos fluids. And keep the house openand aired out. This is a mother of 4 with 15 weeks in the womb so I know what I am saying!

    Good luck

  3. Call your school in the AM and find out what they prefer.

  4. Do they have school tomorrow because of President's Day?  I can never remember if that's a "no school" holiday.

Anywho, I wouldn't worry about it.  Just remember to wash their hands ALL THE TIME.  No sharing anything and spray common areas with lysol (door k***s, toilet, phone...)  I'm sure they'll be fine.

  5. No school here, presidents day.

  6. if they get it at school that could be embarrassing but I would wait and see how the day goes.

  7. I'd just see how they feel tomorrow.  It'd not necessarily a virus they can catch, it could be just something he ate.  On a side note please make sure he drinks plenty of liquid (i'd suggest Pedialyte) because it's very easy for a child to dehydrate when they have diarrhea.

  8. The school will send them home if they get sick.

  9. Are you planning on re-scheduling the party? I know he is only 3...but I would at least do something else for him to celebrate it on a happy note, even if it is another day. As for your other kids...we got that sort of thing a while back, and it did pass through our entire family...but not within hours! You really should let them go to school if the seem to feel well. When we had it, for myself, I noticed that I really just got completely exhausted and run down tired right before it all happened. If they start feeling like that, or have fevers, just not acting right...good clue that it is about to hit them and keep them home. But there was several days between when each of my girls got it...and you really don't want to have them wasting their sick days when they are perfectly fine. Just send a note in with them to teh teacher explaining if they start feeling the slightest bit off, to send them to the nurse....and explain what their brother had. I am sure their teacher will be happy to have the heads up and not be surprised.
