I try and post a blog entry and it doesn't end up appearing. Anybody have any clue why? I'm kind of new at this so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. I  think it's a glitch in the system. I can't  upload new pics  and have heard others complain of the same problem

  2. Kylie,

You need to press compose blog entry

this can be found on the home page

    my page or

    on the my blog page.

    write in your blog

when you are done then press post my blog.

  3. UPDATE: Kylie, selecting the HTML option and following the subsequent instructions doesn't help post the blog. It helps you save your content so you don't have to type everything all over when posting it over. Just keep trying to post and refresh the page each time.

There are glitches, but also you should check your permissions for the blog. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/per... .

Make sure to check how other people view your page by clicking on the drop down menu "Preview as seen by" at the top right of your 360 "My Page". Choose a permission group and click the "Go" button.

It's a glitch. Before posting next time...

    - Click the "View HTML Source" box in your entry's toolbar

    - Select all the content and copy it

    - Then, submit your entry. If it doesn't post after you've refreshed the page and cleared your browser's cache and cookies, then create a new blog entry. Click the "View HTML Source" box in your entry's toolbar. Then, paste what you copied and try posting again.

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. It likely will not be called 360 anymore, so yes, it's closing in a sense. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about those.
