My 'p' key fell off, how can I get it back on?

My cat wripped it off with his claws.. but how the h**l do I get the key back on!!!

I mean, I can still press the letter 'p' but it gets annoying..

most just pop back on. if it doesn't stay the clip is broken.

Usually these keys are held in with a friction fit 'snap ring' type of affair. If the plastic didn't break from the key, you may be able to put it back in place by gently but firmly pressing it back into place on the keyboard. If you have a broken piece then no matter what you do it will always be falling back off. Then it's time to buy a new keyboard. If  this is part of a laptop then you can bring it into 'BestBuy', (GeekSquad), or 'Circuit City', (FireDog), Service Department and have them repair the key for you.

The 'L' key broke off of my mac, and I took it to the apple store and got it fixed.

Examine the key; do you see any broken-off peices? If you don't chances are you can just snap it back on. If you do, then you should bring it to get replaced if your keyboard has a warranty, or just buy a new keyboard.

if you know what happened to the key after it fell off you can probably get it fixed back on but buying a new keyboard would cheeper.

Just pop it back on..if you know where it's at.

There are little hooks on the keyboard and key, so it stays there.

If it won't pop back on, send it in...if you have that fixing guarantee thing.
