My 4.1 SubWoofer keeps going off and i have to whack it before it comes back on...?

... and even then it goes back off again after 2 seconds. its a generic 4.1 surround sound system. My electrician couldnt fix it. any ideas????

well if an electrician couldnt fix it then the system is probably useless, get a new one.

Otherwise look for a speaker repair shop. Try googling one for your local area.

i doubt an electrician would be well informed on speakers so he mightv missed something. Usually its either the copper wires that connect the speaker to the Amplifier system so one could be damaged, the connections of the copper wires to the speaker, the amplifiers speaker output may be damaged or the speaker itself. If you really wanna repair it take the Amplifier and the sub to a speaker repairer and see if the can do something.
