He's been sneezing for about a month.

I thought it was just a bunny cold... but now I’m not so sure,

Cuz I read that if they have crust in there eyes it could be something serious

But the crust just looks like normal eye boogers...

And he still eats really well... and has lots of energy...

Could it be that he's allergic to something?

Should I change his diet?

He eats pellets and apples and carrots are the main things...

I give him treats of bananas and celery when my mom buys it...

Should I stop feeding him something or start feeding him something new?

  1. Your rabbit is probably experiencing the first signs of snuffles. It's this bacteria called Pastuerella that lives in msot rabbit and adapts itself to not effect your rabbit in a bad way. however, things can happen and your rabbit can get stressed. Then it's immune system is lowered and isn't able to kill the Pastuerella.  GET IT TO THE VET IMMEDIATLY BEFORE IT GETS WORSE AND BECOMES CHRONIC!!

  2. my buns got symptoms like that and one had severe respiritory problems , i think you should take him to the vet. before it gets any worse , i had to spend loads of money on medication for him every week and he hated taking it it made him so stressed and it didnt help the condition

  3. You need to take him to the vet. he can be allergic to something, or have an eye infection. My bunny just got over an eye infection, and she had the exact same symptoms. Good luck :-)

  4. 1) Your rabbit needs to have a good quality grass hay available to him at all times to eat.  They need the extra fiber in their diets.

    2) What you are describing sounds very much like an upper respiratory infection.  Allergies should not cause crusty eyes unless they were irritated long enough to cause an eye infection.  Either way, a vet needs to treat your bunny with antibiotics to get him healthy again.

  5. if it is an indoor rabbit then make sure you arent useing any chemecals in your house for cleaning

if its like mine, you have your hutch outside

make sure that its hutch is cleaned and you dont have him in grass that has chemecals on it

if all else fails take him to the vet

its worth it to make sure your bunny is safe

    good luck =]

  6. don't give him celery it can give them diaraia
