  1. i would call the doctor if you r real worried.  it seems that it could be teething but if u describe the symtoms over the phone they could usually help u out.  good luck!!!

  2. please do not give ibuprofen without consulting a doctor. its supposed to be fro 6 mo and up

  3. i would take her in if it keeps coming back up.. sweating usually means the fever broke.. but with infants its always scary when it comes to fevers..

  4. I would take her to the doctor, because the fever is caused by some sort of virus or infection.  Teething does not cause fevers.

The reason she's sweating is because the tylenol causes the fever to go down and her body temperature is trying to regulate itself.  When the tylenol wears off, the fever will shoot back up again.  So, basically the tyenol is only masking the problem.

I would definitely get her checked out as soon as you can.  Better safe than sorry!

    good luck!

  5. Take her to the doctor. The sooner the better.

  6. HI,

Don"t panic the fever isn't to high.  It could be do to teething.  Give her a mild hot bath it will reduce the fever instantly.

Infants ibprofin is the best, tylenol doesn't help much with fever.

  7. If you're worried and she seems really unwell, call the dr and you can usually get advice on the phone, but babies do get fevers that seem high. 100.4 is actually not terribly high, it's around 104 that you should get worried. You can give baby Tylenol and put a cool washcloth on her head.

Here's some good info on handling fevers from Dr Sears website:
