My 4 month old is sick?

She has a stuffy and runny nose and is on the cranky side. I am taking her to the doctor tomorrow. Does anyone have any ideas for me to soothe her and make her feel better. I was thinking of a warm bath..any other ideas?

Try putting some oil burners around with eucalyptus in them. That might help sooth her. Plus lots of hugs. You only have to last till tomorrow. Good luck!

A warm bath may be a good idea- but make sure she doesn't have a fever. If she does- try a cool bath to try and bring her body temp down.. Also- do you have any of those bulbs? To help get some stuff out of her nose? If you think she is in pain, you can give her some baby tylenol- but you should ask your doctor how much to give her- unless you already know. There isn't very much you can do- just give her lots of TLC until you take her to the doc tomorrow to get her checked out.

Use a bulb syringe to get some of the stuff out of her nose. A humidifier will help but if you dont have one taking her into the bathroom after leaving the hot water running to steam up the room will help. She will feel better if you cuddle with her (it will comfort her alot.)

when my son was a newborn like only weeks old he got a miserable cold and couldnt sleep. what i did was i ran the shower on hot and closed the bathroom door then took my son in a couple mins later and sat there with him, he instantly calmed down and passed out (fell asleep). so i sat there with him for almost an hour on the floor but it helped him soo much and his nose cleared a lil for him for a couple hours. i really cant think of anything else just help her get her sleep. you could give her some tylenol if she feels a little warm or she also might have some body aches.

A vapouriser in there room helps them sleep a little better. Some baby paracetamol and she will be fine in a couple of day.
