its wings are damaged pretty good. the butterfly body and head are still attached. the wing damage is just from the wind.

  1. Slam it in a book. I have found damaged butterflys  and slammed them in a book, let them dry for a while then I framed them with a pretty background!

  2. Well I just you can take a jar and put leaves in it, with what the butterfly eats, then you can put it in, and put plastic to cover the jar, and poke holes for it to breathe, and keep it out near where there's sunlight or near a garden.

  3. put hair spray on it

  4. Quick!  Slam it in a book!

  5. my father in law used to catch butterfies for my daughter who is now 15 ans we have done a few interesting things here goes 1,buy a photo frame get some coloured backing paper deorate with glitter or anything and seal it will be theres forever and you can even put the wing back together if you have all of it. 2,get some wax paper place on ironing board wax side up place butterfly on sprinkle a few pieces of grass or flower petals put another piece of wax paper wax side down this time place a teatowel or something not to thick over the top and iron with a hot iron and put in a frame or use it as bookcovering or wrapping paper this can be done with anything leaves sand etc for a fantastic result kids will love it.

but these options are assuming the butterfly is dead depending on its size you may need to let it dry out for 2-5 days so its not squishy.

  6. aw thats so cute

try getting a glass fish bowl

put in some twigs and grass

    maybe something to feed it

and put a net over the fish bowl so the butterfly doesnt get out

just make sure you take good care of it since its already damaged
