The drug store does not open for hours. Any kid safe at-home remedies to soothe an aching tummy?

  1. You should not be giving your little one home remedies unless your doctor advices you of one.

    All you can do is soothe your child and have him/her take small sips of water. Do not give milk or Gingerale. She/he can also have plain crackers or plain toast.


  2. Might try some Pepto- Bismol, but the baby might just need a bowel movement. If the baby hasn't had a bowel movement, gas is causing the pain. When I was a young boy, my Father just used to rub my stomach in circles with his hand. Either that or the baby is hungry or ate something that didn't agree with it, that's where the Pepto will help.

  3. If you have cloves or ginger at home, scrape either into a teaspoonful of honey. This will help sooth her tummy.

    If this doesn't work, the safest medical pain-reliever is Tylenol as needed for her age or weight.
