like to know if this will get better or worse. its around 35 to 40 degrees on each side

35-40 degrees is a pretty significant curve.  Have you seen an orthopeadist?  He will need to be followed closely and they will probably recommend a brace for him to wear eventually.  I can't tell you if it will get better or worse, but I do know that he has so much growth potential at his age that he will need to be followed by a specialist.  Good luck.

To give you some hope i have Scoliosis too, mine seems to have pretty much rectified itself recently, i've never had any treatment for it.

There are treatments available and I know people who have had them and they've worked brilliantly.
