  1. bubblephobia

  2. My son has a problem with bubbles too, only with him he is allergic to them.  He got some in his eyes once and he had a terrible reaction and we ended up in hospital.

It's no big deal though, we just tell people and they just don't use them around him.  He is 4 too and doesn't miss them one bit.

  3. you may find it here http://www.phobialist.com/

  4. go to wikipedia and tap in phobias. there is a huge list of all  sorts of phobias!

  5. "Phobia" is the Greek word for "fear", so it would be appropriate to use "pompholyx", the Greek word for "bubble".

Although I have heard of no "official" name for this fear, I would feel safe in calling it "pompholyxophobia".

  6. There is no clinical name for it, sometimes kids are afraid of things and we can't explain why

  7. don't start saying your daughter has a phobia! what are you trying to do? she just finds them a bit scary , she is 4! please don't start telling her she has  a phobia!
