could it be from the Vaseline or just cause its normal?

  1. Yep, it's normal.  My son was born with a buttload of black hair & almost all of it fell out before growing back in medium brown.

Is this the 1st time you put vaseline in his hair? Good luck trying to wash it out... not so easy.  For next time, a little bit of baby lotion spikes well & smells so much better :)

  2. It is normal. Babies lose their baby hair. Our second daughter was born with a full head of dark hair, lost it and became blonde.  She is 40 now. Our others were born with little hair so did not have so much to lose.

  3. Most babies who are born with hair will end up losing all or part of it, especially on the back of the head from them rubbing their heads against their mattress, car seat, etc.

It's pretty normal and nothing to be concerned about.

  4. Yes its perfectly normal. He will lose most if not all of the hair he was born with and re grow his proper hair son.

  5. It is normal at this age for babies hair to start falling out, with my children I noticed their hair would rub off on their sheets.  They were born with dark hair and after it started coming out it grew back blonder.  How cute - putting vaseline in your babies hair to spike it!  My kids had natural mowhawks and everyone kept asking if I made it like that and I was like no its just how it is - they were like that until about 8 months when their hair got too long and the mowhawk fell over!!
