  1. Leave her alone.  Stop trying to force feed her.  If she eats during the day she is getting what HER body needs to keep her healthy.  All three of my kids slept straight through all night,  they feed more frequently during the day and slept all night.  You got a good baby don't spoil it.

  2. Mine did the same thing up to about 31/2 months. She woudl sleep up to eight or nine hours sometimes if I let her.  It was so difficult to wake her.  I asked the doctor and he said it was fine.  So you might as well enjoy it--Now my baby is waking up three or four times  a night and I'm so tired durring the day.

  3. you are so lucky to hav ur baby sleep thro nite from start, my older son did an i am so hopin that wen i hav this baby he will to... if she is eatin well durin the day i wouldnworry to much bout the nite, she obviously dont need it or she would let u no lol

if you are tha worried speak to ur health visitor bout any worries she will hopflly put ur mind at rest x

  4. normal. totally normal. my neice slept through the night when she was 3 days old. I was watching her for my sister and woke up and thought something was wrong.

Every baby is different. she mihgt just be getting on her own little schedule. if it gets excessive ask your doctor. otherwise enjoy your sleep.  my son who is 4 months didnt sleep through the night til he was 2.5 months.

  5. my baby slept from 5 something am to 11 am. thats the longest he has slept at night without waking up but hes fine and eating fine today

  6. It is like under 5% of babies do this. Most babies never sleep through the night. As long as she is eating every 2-3 hours. How many hours is she sleeping at night?

  7. Hey I've no idea what advice to give, but congrats on your baby!  All through my last year at University I latched onto all your questions about your pregnancy, now I feel quite emotional knowing you have a little girl, alive and well!  And you always seemed so excited about it all!!! How sweet!

    How was the birth?

  8. yes it is she just haves her days and nites mix up.

  9. Hi,

I think the most important thing to start with is to get your baby into a good sleep routine.  I had massive problems with getting my 4 month old son to sleep.  He would just lie awake and cry for hours, then when he finally went to sleep he would wake every hour or two hours through the night and cry again!  Talk about pulling our hair out .... we were absolutely desperate for sleep!

It was a baby sleep audio program recommended by a friend that finally saved us. We followed the advice and began by creating a baby sleep routine which included bathtime, dimming of the lights, putting James into his crib, final nappy change and then lullabies. We also made recommended changes to his naps during the day and used some of the other recommended techniques. Within two weeks he was sleeping through the night most nights with just the odd night where he would just wake once!

Definitely start by creating a good baby sleep routine though and you could find that solves most of your baby sleep problems.

    Good luck!

  10. you are so lucky! my bf baby, at 1 year still wakes up each night.

  11. She's probably "cluster feeding" during the day, mine did and still does the same, some days I don't even bother zipping up my top. But at 5 days   she can't go all night without a feed, wake her up at least every 3-4 hours. Try removing her top (they might just feel too cosy to bother with staying awake) or changing nappy, works with mine..... Good luck   ;)

  12. As a mother of two I would wake her up for a feed as both my children suffered from Jaundice and it's a vicious circle, they get sleepy and don't eat therefore regardless of the amount she has in the day this isn't a routine your baby is too young for that. xx

  13. I wouldn't worry about it too much  al long as she eats enough during the day.  My oldest daughter was the same way at first I tryed everything to wake her up I even tryed feeding her while she was asleep she just wouldn't eat at night.
