My 5 month old lab/pit puppy sleeps all night and half the day. Is this normal?

She's healthy and energetic when awake, but she sleeps the day away (and the night) in the backyard, enjoying the sun.

It seems about right. I have a Lab/akita. she is 11 months. At 3-4 months her little puppy body was growing so much She slept to grow. Feed your dog healthy food and enjoy it when its awake.

yea definately all puppies love to sleep and its just cuz their growing so much it takes up all of their energy
